DENMARK CONTINUES SUPPORT TO TANZANIA'S GOVERNANCE AGENDA
Denmark is in the process of preparing its next phase of assistance to improve Tanzania’s governance agenda. In this context, the Tanzania Governance Support Programme 2011-2015, with an overall budget of DKK 250 million, will comprise 3 components,
1. Democratisation and Domestic Accountability;
2. Access to Justice and Legal Sector Reform;
3. Public Financial Management
A recent appraisal of the Danish program undertaken by the Technical Advisory Services (TAS) found the proposed support highly relevant and well-balanced in terms of demand and supply drivers of good governance.
