Support to the agriculture sector cuts across a large number of sub-sectors and addresses institutional issues at various levels. Both agriculture, fishery and to some extent forestry, belongs primarily to the private sector. But, the public institutions have to provide the political and regulatory framework needed for the sectors to develop and grow. Thus, sector support to agriculture, forestry and fishery requires attention to both private and public institutions to ensure that people working and depending on agriculture, forestry and fishery receive the right support to escape poverty and improve their living standards. If you have ideas or suggestions for improvements of the website or would like to contribute with news or documents, please contact Lars Christian Oxe.
