This section covers Danida’s support to financial services in partner countries. The Danish support to financial services comprises a wide range of activities aiming at improving financial market infrastructure and households and enterprises’ access to finance. The Danish support to financial services is normally an integrated part of Danida financed business sector and agricultural sector programmes. About two third of the Danish assistance to financial services is targeting micro, small and medium enterprises in recognition of their important contribution to economic growth and employment creation.
