The aim of this website is to share knowledge, good practices in health sector development support and to facilitate the work of Danida collaborating partners in the preparation and implementation of Danida supported health sector development efforts. Poverty reduction is the overriding objective of Danish development policy. Equal participation by men and women in the development process, regard for the environment and popular participation, respect for human rights and democratisation are of crucial importance for poverty reduction and are therefore cross-cutting issues in Danish development policy.
