GOVERNANCE MATTERS 2008: RELEASE OF WORLDWIDE GOVERNANCE INDICATORS (WGI)

The new research study report in the 'Governance Matters' series has been released by the World Bank Institute, containing the updated and expanded set of Worldwide Governance Indicators (WGI) for 212 countries and territories. The research methodology as well as the new data and analysis are contained in this new research study, entitled 'Governance Matters VII: Governance Indicators for 1996-2007', authored by D. Kaufmann, A. Kraay, and M. Mastruzzi. This is the seventh such report in a research series that started in the late nineties. This new study, along the full datasets, interactive charts, and main messages and press releases(in various languages), as well as complementary documentation can be accessed at:
