RESULTS OF PREQUALIFICATION PROCESS FOR DEVELOPMENT RESEARCH 2012
Within the framework of Danish development cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has prequalified 23 strategic research cooperation applications for development research and capacity strengthening in partner countries.
The prioritization was based on an assessment by the Consultative Research Committee for Development Research (FFU) of 73 Phase 1 applications within the four priority research areas:
Health issues relevant to primary health
Inclusive economic growth, employment, and youth
Good governance, human rights, conflict and fragility
Climate change, energy and sustainable management of natural resources and urban areas
The list with the 23 prequalified applications is available
here
.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs received a total of 81 applications in this prequalification process and eight applications were rejected without substantive consideration, as they did not meet the deadlines or other requirements set out in the Call for Applications and Guide.
All applicants will receive a letter directly from the Danida Fellowship Centre (DFC) in the beginning of February 2012 (to the mail address stated in their application) about the selection or rejection of their application. Please note that the prequalification of some of these projects may be based on certain conditions concerning the Phase 2 application. This will appear from the individual letters submitted in the beginning of February.
Deadline for submission of the prequalified applications is March 26, 2012 at 12.00 noon.
